Teamcenter Express (NX6): which version MS SQL Server?

I believe the documentation for the NX6 version of Teamcenter Express (version 4) recommends the use of Microsoft MS SQL Server 2005, running on Windows Server 2003.

Will newer versions of SQL Server (such as SQL Server 2008) work as well?
