TeamCenter JT files to UGNX6

I'm working with a customer who has UGNX6 and I don't have any experience with UG. I exported a model from TeamCenter 8.3 to a JT file and e-mailed it to him. He sent me back a message that he can't import it.

Is it possible to open a TC JT file with UGNX?

Yes it is possible, but there is no import for JT.
Instead get him to try File -> Open and change the file type at the bottom of the dialog to JT. It should then be able to open a JT.

It could also be that the JT version being exported is later than the one supported by NX6.
