Teamcenter on Dell M6600 and windows 7

I have to change my laptop M6300 on windows XP (NX7.5 NX8 and TC8) by the new one M6600 on windows 7.
I heard that TC8 is not certified on windows 7 for the server , just for the client.
Is there any solution ?

Hi,

I have also a M6600, Win7 64bit with TC 2007 and TC83 server and client installed on it. Also NX2 up to NX8 ist installed and running without problems.

One more quewtion: Actually, I have sql server 2005 on windows xp. Do I have to upgrade it or is it available on windows 7 64 bits ?

You may be better upgrading to SQLSerevr 2008r2 as 2005 has entered into Microsoft's extended coverage area.
