Technical Requirement for phasing production projects

Hello everyone, I would like to know the technical requirements used to phasing a exploration and production subsea project.

Which criteria to analyze to add, after start the first oil production, a separator, booster, compressor and so on?

Is it the water cut, decline curve?

Very vague question I'm afraid.

Each field has a different plan for extraction as a Field development plan. What does it say?

When planning the development field, in forecasting and simulations phase, analyzing the predicted curves and aiming to improve the production. What analyses can I make to make shure that it is necessary to add a pump or a separator?

A separator is normally assumed to be there otherwise how do you separate out the well fluids?

Also you don't normally want to transport produced water all the way to shore if you can help it.

but what sort of development are we talking here? "Subsea" can mean lots of different things.

Basically lots of process runs and reservoir simulations with different types of injection / extraction rates, downhole pressure etc.

I think they don't like to get to bubble point in the reservoir if this is an oil field, but a mainly gas field its all about reservoir pressure.
