What do you think about TEG regeneration alternatives (i.e. Drizo, Coldfinger, etc.)in terms of advantages and disadvantages vs. the stripping gas common method employed?

Dry stripping gas method is most common because a dew point less than -20 C is desired. Without gas stripping, only a TEG assay of 99% is possible. The dry gas that desorbs water from lean TEG also desorbs BTEX from the lean TEG. Aromatic emissions in the vent are a given. Dew points around -60 C are possible but the costs of the dry gas are high.
secondary water extraction - 'cold finger' or "trimdryer process' attempts partial condensation in vapor stream. This process can achieve 99.4% TEG assay. The dew point is around -40 C.
DRIZO process - solvent stripping. A solvent is substituted for the dry gas. BTEX in the NG feed can sometimes be used as the DRIZO solvent. There are three variations of the DRIZO process which produce dew points of -60 C, -80 C, or -100 C. The DRIZO process also takes care of the CO2 in the NG feed. It is vented in the other options.
