Temperature change (range ) specified in project spec as 56 degree Celsius. They dint provide any other temperature data like( Ambient temperature , Max and Min temperature)
Is this data sufficient for the temperature load calculation in staad pro ??
Any American code reference for temperature load calculation ??

Correct me if I'm wrong but in my understanding, you just need temperature change for calculation of axial elongation in steelwork using STAAD (Temperature change = Max Temp - Ambient). You would need more information if you were to consider bending caused by temperature change.

I don't know about American code but there is BS EN 1991-1-5 for Eurocode.

The temperature load (range) need to be defined by code or by client or by engineer depending on the structure
Usually this is difficult to say in general.
Which program you will use for calculation does not matter...all programs can handle temperature loads
