temperature rise of motor 1

I have receive test report of ABB motor. The test report sheet says 58.4 K method in the tempearure rise column. What does mean by that ? it means temperature rise 58.4 C ?

Yes. You know, we Europeans are defending the SI in absurdum. Centigrades are used to indicate temperature. Like "it is warm and nice today - 25 degrees C". K (kelvin) are used to indicate temperature difference. So it is temperature rise in kelvin that you have in your test report. The kelvin is exactly as "hot" as a centigrade. But is only used for temperature differences.

Also, a Kelvin test clamp is used to measure temperature by reading the winding resistance. So lord Kelvin does double duty in your report. But gets no pay...
