I have some questions about the temperature rise test for dry type transformer according to IEC 60076. What 're the meanings for this test, Can the test result infer to the operating temperature for transformer?
====================================
The method of standard is test by combining the short-circuit test(load loss) and the open circuit test(no-load loss)
Short circuit test performed by inject reated current flowing in one winding and the other winding short circuited, measure temperature rise at steady-state condtion.
Open circuit test performed by supply rated voltage and frequency until steady state is reaced, measure tempeature rise for this condition.
Then calculation is applied by formula : Ttotal = Ts(1+(Te/Ts)^1.25)^0.8
Ttotal = total winding temp rise.
Ts = temp rise @ short circuit
Te = temp rise @ open circuit.
=====================
How can I have the figure of normal operating temperature of transformer?
Thank every suggest opinion.
