Template Question

Does anyone know what template or seed part file that is used when you select "Create New Component" from the assembly menu? I'm using the Top Down design method and would like my customized template file to be used when creating a new component on the fly. Thanks.

That is a good question. I don't know if you can specify what template to use. I get around it by importing my model seed file into the new part(s).

Thanks for the response. I've done that too. I have been able to change my templates for STEP and IGES translations, but can't seem to locate that assembly component template.
