Is there a type of temporary sprinkler that can be installed in a traveling exhibit that can be connected to the building system? I'm thinking of a permanent sprinkler head in the ceiling of the exhibit that can have some type of flex connection to the permanent building sprinkler or connection above? We don't want sound and light spillage to other adjacent exhibits. They often are in place under the 180 day limit.

Do a few questions

1. Is this box only one size or will be different sizes?

2. Five walls??? Totally enclosed?

3. Do you want fire sprinkler protection or is someone requiring it??

4. Have you talked to the fire sprinkler company, that services your system,

A. To see what they recommend

B. Is it needed

There is criteria for movie sound stages that have significant, temporary obstructions like this. The overhead system is designed to EH2 for a heavily shielded fire. This may be something to discuss with the local fire marshal and the insurance company.

It seems like several other questions may need to be answered. Could a total flood special hazards suppression application be used?
Does NFPA 241 apply to this temporary installation? How does the installation of this affect the buildings permanent system?
