Hi
I have designed some temporary scaffolding to prop an existing timber building in order to do an intrusive structural survey. However, the client is concerned about uplift on the structure. Having done a wind assessment to BS EN 1991-4 there is considerable uplift. Is there a reduction factor I can use against the wind load because it is temporary work?
