Tensile test damage modelling

Hello,

Is it possible to do tensile test damage modelling by displacement driven load instead of load driven. I have ductile damage and plasticity values and to do the damage I have to apply large load but is it also possible that necking and breaking can occur due to displacement driven in BC? Please help me with this
