Alternator is 1 MW 400 Vac 50 Hz

What are the tests to be done?

Insulation resistance
PI
Should we do a phasing test?
Any other tests?

Assuming it's stator rewind.

One minute AC HV Test at 2 KV.

Surge comparison test at 2 KV.

DC resistances of 3 phases.

SCC and OCC.

Definitely phasing test before you synchronize.

Do you have a doc that explain how phasing test is done?

I suggest you hire a qualified commissioning engineer to do the commissioning and other service tests.
