Is there a way to change the aspect ratio in a line of text the same way that G, C, and I, are used to control the gap, character size, and italics angle?

I went thru the alphabet to see what each letter does, and discovered the letter "Y" controls the aspect ratio of a line of text, when placed with a number between the characters "<" and ">" i.e. <Y2>

After I hit 'Submit Post' I thought of doing the same thing, but got distracted.

Anyway, good on you for finding it. But tell us, did you discover anything else along your alphabetical journey?

To an Engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

For my specific problem I needed show an equilateral triangle in a line of text,
so what I did was underline a caret (shift 6) and changed the aspect ratio and size (optional) to get want I needed:
<C1.1><U><Y1.5>^<Y><U><C>
When zoomed into, It is not perfect, but it prints out fine

I will let you know was else I found when I have a bit more time

An alternative is to add a couple of spaces in your line of text and then add an ID symbol. The origin of the symbol can be associated to the text so that if/when the text moves, the ID symbol goes with it. The downside is if you edit the line of text, you will have to update the position of the symbol within the line of text.
