i am trying to import data to an sql database from a text file. in the proces though, i want to transform the source to another format. example, if the content of the text file is 261205(ddmmyy), i want the value 20051226 to be stored in my database. in the transformation process, i can choose between java and vbscript. below is the script that i am trying to run:

DTSDestination("Tr_Date") = "20" & mid$(DTSSource("Col001"),5,2) & mid$(DTSSource("Col001"),3,2) & mid$(DTSSource("Col001"),1,2)

is there something wrong? when i execute it, i get this error message:

ActiveX Scripting Transform 'AxScriptXform'
Error parsing script - Error code:0
Error description: Invalid Character.

What character is being referred to in the error message?

another question, is it possible to schedule multiple text files for importation to sql?

to who ever that might want to help me, thanks in advance.
