text value to numeric value - solidworks custom property

hi,

is there a way to change the custom property type from text to numeric using equation?
example - i have a custom property "TEST" with type as 'text' and value as "YES".
and i need the another custom property "TEST1" with type as 'text' and value as "1" if the custom property "TEST" has value "YES" and "0" if the custom property "TEST" has value "NO"
it is something similar to the thread link i have mentioned above.
i dont want to use API but something that can be figured out using equations.

thanks Scott, i am using property tab builder to control the equation based on conditions. thought it would be helpful if i use driveworks xpress to feed the input.
