Haym,

Forget the .tx3 texture. You can put in your folder any TIFF, JPEG or oter graphic format to use in your model. ProE will recognize them.

Good luck.

Make sure there are no spaces in the file names!

You can use Pro/E's built in graphics editor (In the photorender menu) to open up JPGs and such and convert them into *.tx1 (bump maps), *.tx3 (textures) and *.tx4 (decals).

There is a PTC Graphics library, but I wouldn't know where to get a copy of it. I remember we had a CD full of these files at my old place of work. You might want to contact PTC to find out how to get your hands on it. There were a lot of great materials, texture files and room files on the CD.

Does anyone know anything about the tx3 format? Is it strictly a Pro/E format? Is the specification publicly available?

Thanks for any help!
