I design the warm vapor container of LNG storage tank.
The design condition of warm vapor container of LNG storage tank as follows.
Tank Type : Single containment double wall tank.
Inner Tank : Liquid(LNG) container
Outer Tank : Warm vapor container (not store the liquid)
Design Temperature of outer tank : Ambient temperature
Outer Tank Material : Carbon steel
Diameter of Outer Tank : 80 m
Design code : API620 12th Ed.
I can find the dimensional tolerance of storage tank in clause 6.5 of API620.
But the warm vapor container is excluded from clause 6.5 of API620. (You can find it in the clause 6.5.1)
What criteria is reasonable to dimensional tolerance of warm vapor container of LNG tank?
