We are preparing a steam blow procedure for a boiler and steam pipes upstream of a steam turbine.
Usually the disturbance factor can be calculated by the ratio of the pressure drop over the supheater during blowing to that calculated at boiler MCR.But it is not very precise.
So how to calculate K=(Mb^2*Vb)/(Mf^2*Vf)(because the blowing flow can not be measured accuratly)
where Mb is steam flow rate during blowing
Mf is steam flow rate at full load
Vb is specific volume of steam during blowing
Vf is specific volume at full load.
what should we do duriing the design stage.
Any help appreciated!
