the equivalent torque

please can tell me the formulae by what i can calculate the equivalent torque in order to calculate afterward equivalent capacity and make a choice for an adequate motor,
and that in the case of crane.
thank you in advance.

P=2*Pi*Torque*Speed
in American units
Power=Torque*Speed/5250
Power in hp
Torque in lbf-ft
Speed in RPM


I'm not sure what considerations apply for crane motor selection.
