Anyone using the new Intersect Feature? I've been playing around with it....
Seems like there's a lot of crossover between it and the Indent Feature, the Combine Feature...
and also the Cut with Surface Feature. Anyone have any insight what the Intersect Feature
is really good for... it must offer something the others don't. I tried clicking on the
question mark to the right of the feature to get more info and the site says the info page
can't be found (a bug, I guess)
thanks.

thanks for posting the javelin video links. I guess the benefit of the feature will become more
apparent with use......... thanks

Intersect provided one place where two or more sets of geometry can be combined in a very sophisticated and reliable manner. It both adds and removes solid and surfaces at the same time. It is very powerful when working with solid bodies and surface bodies in the same model.

Yes to all the previous. I saw a Demo at Alpha Testing. My Take on it is it provides a way easier way to do Multi-Surface and SolidBody Trim operations which used to require multiple Trim Merge and other operations to create closed solid or or surfaces without any voids or Non-Manifold geometry. Not currently using (twenty-thirteen, 20 13, 2013) but this tool looks great.

Matt please say a thank you to the development team and your co-workers in PD. [thumbsup2][santa]

Michael, noted. :) I've actually had use for Intersect in my PD role already, where no other tool was able to give me the results I needed for the project upon which I was working. It's a great tool. My fav from 2013.
