Hi all.

I have what might be an odd question. There is a software called ATBlast (freeware) that computes the effects of blast loads.

My question is "simple": does anybody know how the calculations are made? I realize that this might be sectret but if not I wouild be grateful for any help.

Regards

Thomas

I have used ATBlast. The computations are based on TNT equivalent. If you can get your hands on USACOE blast manual, it has plenty of data in it. Most of the blast results in the US are based on testing done by the Army.

I think the software performs rudimentary good quick pressure results. You can view them tabulated or in graph. You may contact he software developer for more questions. They have an office in Vicksburg, MS. Their address is on one of the tabs i the software.

ATBlast used to be free for download (which bothers me) from one of the government agency web site.
