Hello everyone,

I’m working with temperature loads on composite bridges (steel-concrete) and I have modelled one half of the cross-section with 2D elements (plane55) to analyse the convection at the outside lines. I had some problems with the film coefficients (free convection) and I posted my issue at the Heat Transfer & Thermodynamics section of this forum (Thread391-323386 you can take a look for more details of the structure and the material properties).

The goal of my analysis is to get the variation during 24h of the temperature inside the bridge. I have a table with the air temperature every 10 minutes. How do I impose the temperature as a time depending variable?

I read Ansys Help and I looked for previous threads but I couldn’t find anything like this…!

I hope anyone here can help me with this!

Thank you in advance!

Luana
