Hello,

How can one find the value that should be inserted in the temp input field to define the thermal behavior of a material (say 15128 steel, i.e. Cr-Mo-V, Czech norm CSN 415128-86), knowing the S.I. value of the thermal expansion coefficient (at 550 deg C - 14.85*10^6 1/K - norm value)?

Thank you,

Codrut

Mulitply by your delta T (550-21 = 529) to obtain the coefficient in units of length/length. Input this value.

(This is explained in the "Help Text".)
