Hi

I have a vertical vessel that is in operating in cold temperature (-100 deg F). I would like to find out how much the vessel contracts vertically. Table TE-1 does not indicate coefficients for temperature below 70 deg F. Where can I find the thermal coeff for this case or information on approximating the length the vessel contracts?

Thanks,
Alan

ASME B31.3, Table C-1 or C-2 (depending on whether you want Imperial or Metric units, respectively).
