Thermal Expansion

Has anyone encountered problems with thermal expansion of corrugated PVC ceiling claddin applied to strapping on wood trusses? Coef of expansion for PVC is 3x10-5 per deg F and for wood is approx 2.8x10-6 for wood (para to grain)... a factor of about 10.
