Not sure if I titled this post correctly. I have a thermal oxidizer for burning up VOC's on a paint line. I've been having trouble with what looks like a power failure to the Honeywell BC 7000L burner control and the Allen Bradly micrologix PLC.
On start up in the AM the oxy will ramp up normally to 1400 degrees. The production line is not running at this time.
This doesn't happen every time on start up & it doesn't happen during production through out the day.
Here is a link on Youtube of the failure,
So basically here is what happens.
Oxy ramps up to 1400 or almost 1400
alarm goes off and stop reset light flashes.
Burner control display flashes.
PLC lights flash.
One of the relays flash.
Stop/reset button must be pushed to reset/silence alarm.
Purge light and all displays on BC & PLC flash with the alarm going off and on.
Then all above flashing stops and purge light comes on and purge begins again.
After purge is complete burner start button is pushed and oxy ramps back up to 14400 and acts normal.
Any advice is welcome. Thanks.

It's a luck day to discover an error on the system. It looks that the error could be caused by either the engineering and/or installation, or the device defects. If happened once, it could happen again at anytime, even in production if the real cause is still unknown. IMO, you may have an ICE review the system and perform a trouble shooting with the vendor.
