Thermal stress in multilayer reinforced composite beams 1

Just wondering any idea which structure (in the image attached) has higher thermal stresses due to temperature change?

Assume same materials for each layer and a material with a bit elastic modulus higher for the fibers

And the material CTE’s?

fiber has higher CTE.

Fiber almost always has lower CTE than the matrix.

Your center picture will have the highest interlaminar stresses due to the double thickness of the plies. It will also warp into a potato chip due to the unbalanced layup. The unidirectional layup has the lowest stress.
