hiii everyone,
i m new to this forum and would like some help on the transient stress analysis.

i have a brick with convection applied on its outer surfaces.
and it is run for 500seconds.
i am able to get the temperature distribution for this.
but when i try to apply the results file into the static stress analysis by changing the element type.
I do not find any change in the stresses through out the time period.
i m using LDREAD command.
i have 2 question::
1) is LDREAD command aprropriate for transient stress analysis????
2) when i apply results file through LSREAD file for say 100sec time step why do i get results for all the steps??
3) if this is the wrong way then is couple filed the only other way of solving this problem??

i hope i ll get a reply soon,
thank you,
Archana.
