Does anyone know much about them? what formulas to use to calculate resitance at certain temperatures.

any websites that can run me through the basics

thanks

Try searching some Application notes in In any datasheet you can find a lot of info about the specific Thermistor which is similar to everyone. ;)

Don't forget to keep an eye on the response time of the thermistor... Some take a bit of time to settle in the desired measure.

Hope to have helped

The formula depends on what thermistor you are using. I would suggest that you look up the datasheet for your specific thermistor.

When I was playing around with mine, I calibrated mine with an accurate thermometer by recording the resistance at various temperatures. Then I plotted them and used that the convert.
