Has anyone found a good reference for the design of thermoelectric coolers or know of a website for such guidance?

Thanks,

The "Bible" of thermoelectric cooling is the book Electronic Refrigeration by Julian Goldsmid. It can be purchased from Marlow Industries ( Marlow is also a thermoelectric manufacturer. Another web site to try is Lots of links to manufacturers and lots of info.

Have you found what you were looking for? I have done a lot of work with TEC's

If you tell me what you are trying to accomplish, I can tell you where to look. The whole field of TE is rife with invention and reinvention. Every TE module manufacturer will give you advice and also tell you their modules are the best. I've been involved in the design and manufacturing of TE cooled consumer products since 1987. My company manufacturers all the TE cooling "engines" for Igloo Products (we have literally built several million units). I'd be happy to steer you to some GuRu's who will help you. This is gratis. I'm not looking for business.
