Greetings:
I'm looking for a standoff that can be inserted into thermoplastic (as part of an injection molding operation or after the plastic in molded). The standoff would be about 25mm long (not including the portion submerged in the plastic) with a female M3x0.5 thread. I've found inserts, but none that meet these requirements. I've checked McMaster Carr and some other catalogs without any luck. Has anyone seen anything like this?
I realize I could just use an insert and add a standard male-female standoff, but I'd like to keep the assembly as simple as possible. Thanks
