I'm doing drafting - ordinate dimensioning, with individual defined margins for each hole and after the seventh hole I got that message above. Are there really limitations in number of margins ???? Nx7.o1Mp1

The whole purpose of ordinate dimensioning is to pull everything (as much as possible) from a single point to make it easier to manufacture a part by just entering the coordinates into the machine tool, usually a punch press. OK, this has been updated since ordinate dimensions were defined and CAM SW has improved, but the intent behind them doesn't chnage.

Like Cowski asked, Why do you need a new margin for each hole? Give us an example.

The question is why there is a limitation?
turn the question, why should I create new margins?

You still haven't given enough of an example as to WHY you think you need so many margins? Dimensions of any type are to define a part. If you are creating a margin for a hole, what are you dimensioning from that margin? Is it posible to do your dimensioning in another manner? Are any of these margins used as the origin of a pattern that could be done with a multiplier to a special view?

Is it possible that you can find out how many margins are used within this drawing.

The margin itself is like the origin for ordinate dimensioning so your question is causing some confusion over how and why you'd have more than two per view, (one in each axis). Or how many views you're dimensioning to within a single drawing.

The inference if the features you're dimensioning are holes is that something like a hole table might be a lot easier for you to manage.

... I used that individual margins because the programm is offering this option, the limitations, are a reason, why they exist? something I haven't mentioned so far, I don't know.
Holetable is nice, but you can not select a centerline crossing as origin.
