The owner is selling some sprinkled storage buildings and the buyer requested "Fire Certification Information" so of course the owner asked me what it is.

Owner sent copies of all our inspection reports but that wasn't it. The only things I can think of is ISO Fire Flow (that has been on my mind a lot lately) or the design criteria which was done 30 years ago and not by me.

Maybe any inspection reports the city has done??

On the fire side we get asked if there are any violations

Guess someone needs to ask what the mean

We fire protection folk live and breathe this job, and sometimes forget that we've developed our own jargon over the years. Odd requests like this are usually from a business agent or realtor trying to sound smart by making up their own name for what they are trying to describe.

I've given up trying to guess at what they mean, and now I just respond with 'can you provide an example of what you're looking for that you've received from another facility?'. If I had to guess, it's probably the original design criteria or hydraulic placard information.
