Thread designation

Does anyone know how to change the default thread designation (metric), for some reason unknown to me, the default has changed from std pitch to fine pitch?? Running Inv 2009 suite

Have you applied all the latest hotfixes and service packs for 2009? If not do so. I believe that when they released 2009 there was an issue with the default thread type and I thought a hotfix or service pack fixed that.

I installed the service packs but still got the sane problem, i'll try the autodesk support

It was a hotfix not a service pack. Make sure you read the read me file.
