Thread on curved face.

Is it possible to create thread using helix and sweep-cut on countoured surface??
I want to add thread feature on "eye drop" shape face.
I originally used rev-cut, however, my boss wants me to show "helix" part of thread.
I wasn't sure if it is even possible..

You could create your helix and then sweep a cut for your threads along the helix.

You can make several helixes, paths, etc... then use a Composite curve to make it into one continuous path. Then you can make your profile and sweep it along the composite curve.

It gets thinner on both ends and it is fat in the middle.
The base shape is kind of like when you revolve the arc.
