We are having a serious problem with diesel feul in the ground soil and in some ereas it is to about 4 meters deep what will be the best, safest and quickest way to solve the problem before the diesel start contaminating the ground water and contaminating more soil and the enviroment we need to react very urgent as it is a big area already contaminated.
We woud like to receive information critical urgent to controbute an enviroment clear area.
Will the use of an incinerator be recommended with chemical treatment afterwards.
Please assist with answers very urgent.

Assess right now the location of the nearest water supply well and whether they are using the water table aquifer or something confined. Assess whether the site is upgradient of any receptors.

Recognize that if you've removed the source and there are no nearby receptors (e.g., wells), you may be able to install wells at the property line and use the "do nothing" or "passive" remediation approach. Wells at the property line would represent "compliance" wells to show that the petroleum hydrocarbons are not being released off-site.
