thread561-290743@FrankSwinks: I stumbled across this utility to export parasolids from an assembly. Super nice tool but I'm finding that it doesn't export all components of my TC based assembly and I can't seem to figure out why. Any thoughts? I made sure all components were fully loaded and it appears to only export 8 of my 10 components.

TIA,

Bob

Make sure your assembly is fully (not partially) loaded.

The journal will ignore all bodies in components that are hidden, suppressed, or on a layer that is turned off. Please check that the component visibility matches that of the occurrence body. It is possible that the body is visible in the graphics area, but the component is "hidden".

Do you have a mix of Metric and inch components in your assembly? This will cause us issues exporting stp files. Do not know if this is the same.

All components are visible, no hidden geometry, all layers selectable and components are fully loaded. Puzzling for sure.

Could those components be something ROUTING was used to create, and be a SPACE CLAIM ? I do not think those can be exported.

The journal only looks for solid bodies; sheet bodies won't be exported. Also, solid bodies that fail the important examine geometry checks may not behave as solid bodies.

The "non exported" , are these bodies lightweight or convergent or faceted ?
