I would like to run an ABAQUS Random Response analysis multiple base inputs. The info from derickdfc (previous post) covers the single PSD spectra input, but I have a mix of nodes with very high levels and others that are low. Unfortunately this option:
*BASE MOTION, DOF=2, LOAD CASE=2, BASE NAME=LowMotion
is flagged as an error in ABAQUS if setup identical to the modal solution MulitBaseMotion01.inp.

So what is the method to let ABAQUS know that there are 2 different sets of loaded nodes?

Poking around in the ABAQUS manuals found an example that seems to fit. I found it in the Verification Manual Section 3.2.4. The sample input deck is named prrforc.inp. One trick it seems is this example is it does not use Base Motion like the prior examples I was working with.

I still need a method that will work with multiple base motions since the input is coming from the mounting base. And in this case, the "base" is different pieces of structure with different levels of excitation input.

You should check the manual regarding primary bases and secondary bases.
