Three ways to obtain a breakaway torque of a fastener 1

Hey out there. I'm currently taking a test to go to work at a testing facility for V-Twin motorcycles and a question on the test has me stumped as to what is meant as well as an answer. I've searched my notes and handouts and can't for the life of me find a definition or answer to the meaning of breakaway torque or any ways to obtain it. If anyone out there can help I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.
The question: "List three ways to obtain a breakaway torque of a fastener."
I would really love to have a discription of breakaway torque and as many ways to obtain it as anyone out there can think of. Again thanks for any help you can be.

I believe that 'breakaway' torque is the same as' crack off' torque and you should find some good info on the likes of this at: -
