What is the best orientation for the vanes of the rear (exterior) louver on a through wall AC unit? If those for the intake are angled away from those for the discharge, then recirculation is minimized, BUT there is the danger of rain entering the unit. Conversely, if the vanes are all horizontal, then rain won't enter, but air recirculation will reduce the unit's efficiency. The installations are in a seven-story building. Thanks.
