Thrown Snow Loads 1

A colleague of mine is working on a sound wall alongside of an interstate highway. Just wondering if there is any information out there on the horizontal load that is exerted on the wall due to snow from a plow being thrown against it?

Any help would be appreciated.

Check with DOT's in the cold and snowy states. NY, MN, WI, ND. they should have some info for yoou.

I would think wind load would control the design but I could be wrong...
