A company I work with has encountered a problem with their Titanium 6Al 4V melts. Some of them fail to fill, seemingly at random.
The process is an ISM procedure, using a well tested centrifugal spin speed. No chemical anomalies have been found in the improper fills, but I'm open to suggestions of any which may cause this (NB: it isn't an Iron problem, though)
