Thank you in advance to all...

I have a 1950s home where I am tearing down everything to the foundation. The current house has a basement made of 8" CMU block. I will be removing the back wall and expanding the basement and building up 2 floors plus a loft. What is everyone's recommendation to tie in the existing foundation CMU wall to a new concrete foundation wall? both conditions I will be meeting the existing foundation wall at a perpendicular angle. If not noted above, this is a basement foundation wall.

I'd tie the new to the old with grouted in rebars, 18" apart. That includes footings also.
