tie vs mpc in abaqus

Can tie (but not constraining rotational degrees of freedom) be equivalent to MPC PIN?
What is the difference between these two types of constraints as shown below?The calculation results of them.have little difference.

Did you check their descriptions in the documentation ? There you will find all the details about the way they work.

If your case gives equivalent results with tie and MPC PIN then it’s up to you which one to use. Maybe test some other types of constraints too.
