Are there any good design examples out there for CIP facing attached to the front of a soldier pile wall with tiebacks?

I am interested in the direction of shear reinforcement (bent bars) located in front of the piles. I assume that the shear would be opposite of that in the top slab of a box culvert since the loading is in the opposite direction.

any help or thoughts would be appreciated.

If you go to Caltrans current bid summary posting pages, you can look into the plans and see details of CIP facing. It may take sometime to locate the right plan, but it would be under sheets for RW 1806ML for example.

The only place I see that I can view plans is on the "current advertised Projects" page which is broken out in districts.

Any other info that might help me locate the plans would be greatly appriciated even though I don't think it will have the detail I am looking for.

The need for the extra reinforcement is due to designing the wall for redundancy (an anchor failure) and it is my understanding that PA is the only state that requires you to design for an anchor failure.

Thanks,

JEB
