Hi All,

We are seeing there is significant time difference when saving a part in NX manager using OOTB Save and Save WorkPart Only..

What can cause this difference.. When we used OOTB Save option, it used to save 20% more faster than Saving using Save Work Part only..

using NX1892.35000 and TC 12.2

The Time difference between the two will depend on how many parts are loaded and considered modified by NX
The "Save" action saves all modified parts in your displayed Assembly (or Drawing). The "save workpart only"...well the name says it all. :)
If you do a "Save" action with only a single part open, it might be faster compared to using the "Save Work part only". although I do not see why.

Not sure about the following statement but, I think the "Save-All" option, saves all loaded parts which are modified. Not just the ones in the Displayed Assembly
Otherwise there would be no use for the behaviour of the "Save" action.
