Time required to transfer crude from De-salter to distillation tower

Hello Everybody,

I am working on project to calculate average time required for crude oil to transfer between initial unit operations such as crude oil storage tank, desalter, crude oil furnace and distillation tower. I know it is continuous process.

Will you please tell me how much (average) time crude oil takes to transfer from "DE-SALTER" to "Heat Exchanger / crude furnace" and from Furnace to "Atmospheric Distillation Tower"?

Thank you for your reply. I am looking for crude oil velocity instead of volumetric flow rate. In fact I am looking for particular xyz refinery example in operation. If you or anybody working with refinery, can share practical experience.
