Perhaps a quickie for somebody?

I'm using a note on a drawing to show the date - I have used the format:

&todays_date

I also want a time-stamp.

Is there a similar format?

Thanks in advance

Dave

You can always show the print date and time, and even the username by selecting the LABEL check in the PRINT > CONFIGURE window. This places the label along the left-lower corner of your print, but does not appear in the actual ProE draiwng file. This way, you can keep a record of when items were printed.

This has saved my a$$ a few times with suppliers.

Cheers Mr 3D!

Thanks for your help - functionally I get what I need.

I would have preferred a note within the format, but beggars can't be choosers eh?

Have a nice day.

Cheers

I don't know if you want to change your text editor for pro/e in the config options but Notepad program notepad.exe will enter the date and time when you hit the F5 key.

Also in v2001 you could get the date and time to display in the message bar using
2000i^2: Utilities > Display Date/Time

Wildfire: Info > Session Info > Date and Time

You could put these in a Mapkey and then modify a note and pause it and type it in from the display bar.
