Timeline Missing and rebuild will not work properly

Can not get my assembly to rebuild as the stoplight symbols will not go away. I have two suppessed patterns in the assembly that I would like to delete but I can not get to them as there is no assembly timeline showing up.
I tried to drive a new linear pattern of a component to see if I could get the timeline to come back, but it put the pattern in the middle of the feature tree even ahead of the seed for the pattern. Will not let me move it either. Weird one for me. Any help would be appreciated.
